Access Denied

Question

Hi,I am using Acrobat Reader X on Win 7. I have the Access Denied error when trying to open a pdf.I have tried to troubleshoot where could be the problem, but I am not getting anywhere. Please help.file1.pdfUser A cannot open file on Computer A and Computer B.User B can open on Computer A.User A created this file months ago, and she can open the file then.file2.pdfAll users and computers cannot open this file. User A created this files months ago, which then can open.Enable Protected Mode at startup is already unchecked for all the version on Computer A and Computer B.There are also another set of files cannot open by Acrobat Reader, but can be opened by Acrobat Standard. Why so?There are many permutations of scenario, i am not able to conclude anything.Thanks for your help.

Hi Yeangw97364288,As shared, you are using the Adobe Reader X on Win-7, Adobe Reader X is a very old version of Reader which is no longer supported.End of support for Acrobat X and Reader X As mentioned above, that File1 can't be open by one user on same computer. However, same file can be open by other user, so could you confirm how the other user (user B) has been logged in on computer? Who is the admin of system and is he logged in through a different user account or same as administrator?Also, can you share the screenshot of the error message that you are getting when you are accessing files?Regards,Akanchha
