Accrobat Reader shows current version, but check updates says there's an update that fails

I have uninstalled Reader, downloaded a fresh installer, and installed.

Version shows as: 25.1.21288.0

Help > Check for updates - says an update is available.

Sits on Downloading Updates, with the bar not oving from the beginning.

AdobeARM.log shows BITS errors. See:

    Hi @GLComputing,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble with installing Acrobat Reader.

Do you still face the issue? If yes, you might want to download the offline installer package for Acrobat Reader directly from here: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader Distribution

Choose the version according to your system. If you are on a 64-bit system, choose 64-bit, for 32-bit and 64-bit ARM, choose 32-bit version.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Souvik
