To understand the issue clearly, we need a bit more information from your side. If we understand correctly, you got a pdf file which contains link in it. And while clicking on the link nothing happen?

• If yes, then there might be problem with the hyperlink embedded to the pdfs or link didn't embed correctly.
• Or Adobe Acrobat Reader doesn't allow to open those URLs.You can allow Acrobat and Acrobat Reader to contact selected websites by adding their addresses (URLs) to your list of trusted websites in the Trust Manager preferences. Alternatively, you can allow all URLs.

• Disable internet security software (In any) which might be blocking to connect with the server.

Notes: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install or activate other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done

• As a workaround, Reboot computer and check whether Reader is up to date or not. Open Reader>Help>Check for update.
