Acrobat 9 Pro Extended - License Error & Shut Down
Hi All,
Can someone tell me how to fix this problem?
App: Acrobat 9 Pro Extended (makes 3d acrobat files).
My hard drive started failing so I cloned it to a new hard drive.
After starting up I had to fix all the licenses on all my software.
Every other program worked but Acrobat.
It keeps giving me a 'license error' and shutting down.
I used the license repair utility but it didn't fix the problem.
It says if it doesn't fix the problem to contact tech support.
But tech support says they don't do 'chat support' with discontinued products.
Well, silly me, but they don't make a 3d product like this anymore.
Besides that, it worked just fine up till this recent problem.
So not only am I NOT going to by Tetra3d b/c it's too damned expensive and I can't afford it;
But this app worked perfectly fine before Adobe did this to me.
COERCED UPGRADES IS A CRIME - BAIT AND SWITCH + FRAUD & THEFT.
IT'S A PROTECTION RACKET OPERATION.
SUBSCRIPTION IS SLAVERY AS WELL.
So, I want to know how others have dealt with this B.S. and got their app back up and running.
Note: I do NOT want to reistall the app, since it takes HOURS with all the updates, reboots, etc.
TOTALLY STUPID AND NEGLIGENT!
