Acrobat failed to load it's Core DLL

Acrobat Reader worked fine a couple of days ago.  Now I keep getting an error "Acrobat failed to load its Core DLL".  I tried uninstalling and re-installing the program.  I restarted the computer... still not working.  I googled it and the only answers I could find was after I opened the program... well the program won't open!  Please help
