Acrobat is not working in the browser

Hi,

I can't read any PDF file in my browser with acrobat. Each time I try, it tells me something like "before going on, launch adobe acrobat and agree the contract for final user". So I open the software but it doesn't ask me to agree to anything and I can't manage to find where I could agree. I'm using safari most of the time (OS10.12.4) but I also tried with firefox and chrome and nothing seems to work.

Could you help me with that ?

I'm not sure that any of those browsers can use the adobe plugin any more. They have their own pdf viewers now.

You can try some of the suggestions here but they are older fixes and may not work on newer versions of those browsers unless they use NPAPI plugins (although admittedly, I've never tried on a Mac).

Configure browser to use the Adobe PDF plug-in to open online PDF files

Those browsers are probably not using the Adobe Acrobat/Reader plugin.

Try right-clicking the links, save them to your computer and open from within Reader itself.

Thanks for that. It's working, though I'd like the plugin to work as well.

I went to the specification to check them and they are installed and have all the authorizations. I don't understand where the problem is coming from.
