Acrobat issues, including lack of previous versions

I have to manually rehab PDFs exported from excel for accessiblity. For some reason, the "Order"/"Reading Order" tools are not functioning or displaying properly. The reading order panel shows up, but the table editor stays grayed out no matter how I try to select things. There are also item that show up in the order sidebar and in tags but don't have the boxes around them in the main document view.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled acrobat, restarted my computer, and the same issue persists. When I looked to see if there was an older version of Acrobat I could revert to, only the  most recent install showed up as an option.

I figured out how to resolve the Order issues: somehow the view settings got tweaked in a way that made the panel pretty non-functional. I certainly had not intended to change the view options, so it must have been either a mis-click or a setting that got flipped in an update.

I still don't see any options to revert to an earlier version of acrobat and there's no way to reinstall with clean settings, but this has resolved the immeditate issue.
