Acrobat Pro 2017 licensing problem

Hey,

We recently purchased 2 copies of Acrobat Professional 2017. It came with a single license key.

I managed to install one pc with the license no problem but when i tried to install on the second pc I got the following error,

Any Idea what I can do?

Sorry for the delay in response to your query and apologize for the inconvenience caused. As per the description and details shared about the Volume license of Acrobat Pro 2017 has two order quantity. Each serial number for Windows and Mac can be used for activation.

Please download the setup of Acrobat Professional 2017 17.0 MLP AOO from Adobe's Licensing website https://licensing2.adobe.com with the email address on which the Adobe Order 142260556 is placed and registered. Download and install the setup. Before running the setup, please use Acrobat Cleaner tool remove previously installed Acrobat or any corrupt installation files Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs Link: https://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html

Reboot the machine and then run the downloaded setup as an Admin. Use the serial key for activation.

Ah, I see it's the educational license program. That's a kind of volume licensing, but I don't know whether it uses the retail download. I would expect it to still require you to use the licensing portal. However, this needs to be answered by someone familiar with how that program works. In the mean time, I note that this is CLP, one of four available educational license programs. In the mean time here is the CLP manual http://wwwimages.adobe.com/content/dam/acom/en/buying-programs/pdfs/clp-program-guide-en.pdf . It seems you should have access to a licensing web site.

I have looked on the licensing site and it only has one windows key and one Mac key. Would you have an email address for someone who may be able to assist further?

Ok, that is the right download for Acrobat 2017 retail. But did you say you purchased 2 separate seats? At retail they would always have separate license keys. So if there is the same, you have a volume license, and must download the volume license software from your Licensing Portal.
