l hit the wrong key in Acrobat Reader.  Now I get the crosshairs cursor instead of the default, vertical cursor. when I open the .pdf file.  I'm stuck.  How do I change back to the default, vertical cursor when I open the .pdf file?  Also, when I click on the document, the document turns blue.  See screenshot attachment.  FYI.

Hi.  Thanks for the prompt reply.  That was my first Posting experience.  It was a disaster!  I am so sorry.  I apologize to the Community for wasting your time.

Subsequently, I accidently discovered the problem with the cursor.  The problem is with the formatting of the document itself.

Apparently, Page 1 of the document is formatted differently from the rest of the pages in the document.  The crosshair cursor is displayed only on the first page, and I could not figure out how to change it to the vertical-line cursor.

The rest of the document's pages appear to be in standard/normal format.  The default, vertical-line cursor is displaying correctly on the document's other pages.

FYI.

That page is just an image, and there's no text to select in it, therefore the text selection cursor (the "vertical bar") doesn't show up. The blue highlight means the entire image was selected.
