Acrobat Reader completes installation but cannot be found
My numerous attempts at re-installing Acrobat Reader have been unsuccessful.
Since several recent updates to Acrobat Reader kept failing, I uninstalled it and went to the website to download a new installation. I had performed the same process last year successfully.
The installer downloaded fine and the installation proceeded to the end.
However, this time there is no evidence of Acrobat Reader having been installed.
I cannot find it, either under the Windows Settings for Apps nor an icon shortcut on the desktop.
The Acrobat Reader installer exe file also vanished from where it was downloaded to.
All my pdf files now default to Chrome.
I'm running Windows 10 on my laptop with 32-bit operating system, x64-based processor.
Can anyone help resolve this, please?
