Acrobat Reader Crashes

I am running Mac OS10.12.6, and just downloaded a brand new version of Acrobat Reader. It crashes whenever I try to open it. I even tried in Safe Boot mode. No luck.

    Please try the troubleshooting steps from the following KB doc to fix the issue https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/troubleshoot-system-errors-freezes-mac.html

    If the issue still persists, please share the following details:

    • Dot version of Reader installed, check it from Help>About Adobe Reader
    • Are you getting  any error message when the Reader DC is crashing, if you are getting any error message, please take a screenshot and share it, to share the screenshot, refer to How to share a document  Link: https://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-7161

    Hello James,

    Thank you for the details. Please use the Acrobat cleaner tool to remove the Adobe Reader  Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs  Reboot the machine and install the Reader back from Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

    This is the error message I get.

    Shared Files - Acrobat.com

    I have tried to downed and install Adobe Extensions Manager, but it will not install, something about a missing file.
