Question

Acrobat reader DC_19010 won't install on Mac with OS 10.14.

I want to install a pdf reader that is better than Mac's preview option, on a Mac with OS 10.14.  The DC reader claims to be compatible. The installer sticks at 'reading package scripts' Why won't it download? What can I get instead if this won't work.

    Hi Anand Sri

Thank you for your helpful suggestion. Unfortunately, exactly the same has happened as happened before. The blue thermometer zooms to ‘Running package scripts’ and then stops short, saying ‘instal time remaining Less than a minute.’ I left it like that for 2 1/2 hours this morning. Then the problem is I can’t close it - the go back/continue boxes are greyed out. And it stops me closing my computer. I dealt with it earlier by doing multiple force quits. What should I do now?

I do want the Adobe reader!

Hope for further help - thank you

    Kate
