Acrobat Reader DC auto update stops other programs to run.

Hello guys,
Maybe some can help me to solve problem with latest Acrobat DC automatic auto-update?
The problem is that I have another polish E-tax App (e-deklaracje) which seems to break with the newest version of DC
(DC is needed to read the tax forms).

The latest version of DC just auto-updates itself and there is no option to turn it off
So the only fix for now is to remove the DC and install older version - AcroRdrDC_1801120063_MUI.

It's all happening on OSX (I have latest Mojave 10.14) 
How they could just remove the disable auto-updates option?
any idea or workaround?

Hi Pawełw, 

Adobe Acrobat Reader is by default set to auto update. Reader's preferences settings doesn't allow to you to turn the automatic update off and neither its recommended by Adobe.

However, you can refer to the suggestion given in one of the previous forum discussion here: Disable automatic updates in Adobe Reader DC? and see if that helps.

Adobe Acrobat Reader is by default set to auto update. Reader's preferences settings doesn't allow to you to turn the automatic update off and neither its recommended by Adobe.
