Hi,

I am having trouble using pdfs in Acrobat Reader DC software. After opening the file, whenever I am hiding the toolbars on the right side, the software is crashing.

The problem started after the Windows 10 update. I tried reinstalling the software wih no luck.

Can someone please help me out?

Hi Dewang,

Thanks for reaching out, As described above, Acrobat Reader DC crash on windows 10, correct?

Would you mind sharing some more information for a better understanding

Check for any missing update. A new update for Adobe Acrobat/Reader DC got released on 17th Oct 2019 version 19.21.20048, please update the application to the new version. Go to Help > Check for Updates. For detailed information please use th link  https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html

Please try to repair the installation. Go to Help > Repair Installation and see if that helps.

Hi Amal,

Thank you for replying.

The software version is 2019.021.20047. Same problem in version 2019.021.20048. Also tried repairing with no luck.

This behaviour is common for all pdfs, including the "Welcome" pdf.

(Correction: The PDF is freezing, not crashing)

Behaviour- After opening the file, if I am closing the toolbar tab (Right side) or Thumbnails (Left side), the document freezes. On scrolling, the scroll bar moves, page no changes, and other features are accessible, but no changes can be seen in the pdf.

Everything works fine if I don't close the Tabs or use Read Mode.
