Hi, today I opened Reader DC but after opening it, it immediately freezes with a white screen. If I try to close it it says: ''Adobe Acrobat Reader DC has stopped working'' with two alternatives: Close program or wait for the program to respond.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, the application is freezing and crashing on opening.

- What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat you may also take help from the help page- https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product-version.html

- Are you on Windows or Mac OS and what is the version? Please check for any missing update for OS and try updating it and reboot the computer once.

If it still doesn't work, please create a new test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there and check.

You may also check out the steps shared in the help pages listed below:

If its still freezing/crashing please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool - https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/index.html reboot the computer once and reinstall the application using the link - https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
