Acrobat Reader DC freezes then does not respond

Any one had an issue with Acrobat reader opening and then after a short time it then freezes and has a not responding message in the top left corner ???

just stated doing this not sure why

    Hi Leonh16696827,

    Please confirm the complete error message you receive and does it happen on launching the application or while opening any particular PDF.

    Also, please try the repair installation of the application from the Help menu and see how it goes.
