Acrobat Reader DC frozen after Mac Mohave upgrade

I upgraded my 2018 MacBookPro OS from High Sierra to Mohave 10.14.2. Adobe Acrobat DC freezes and is not responsive. I have uninstalled/clean installed/restarted and the app constantly freezes. I have a 3rd party software which requires Acrobat Reader and consequently I can not print any docs? Comments? Suggestions?
