Acrobat Reader DC has stopped working

Every time I try to open a document I keep getting a message that the Acrobat Reader DC has stopped working. I have searched this community and tried many suggested fixes but nothing has worked. I have uninstalled and reinstalled a numerous times as well. Please help!

    Hi,

    We have released an update today that fixes this issue. This update will be automatically applied to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader DC. You can also open Acrobat or Reader DC and visit Help > Check for updates to make sure you are on the latest patch.

    Hi Lyndels28149601,

    Please try the repair installation of the application.

    If that does not work, uninstall and reinstall the application using Adobe cleaner tool.

    Thanks Supriya. I have done both of these suggestions at least twice today and it has not worked.

    Hello!

    I had the same with win10 and Reader DC.

    The "Acrobat Cleaner Tool" helped!
