Acrobat Reader DC installation issue

I faced problem while updating Acrobat Reader DC. So as per instructions on Adobe.com, I uninstalled old Acrobat Reader DC and tried to reinstall the Acrobat Reader DC. The download screen shows that latest version is already installed. But there is no Acrobat Reader DC in my PC. What should I do?

    We're sorry for the trouble you had with the installation of Adobe Reader DC. Are you on Windows machine or Mac and what is the version?

    Is it possible to post a screenshot of the error you get? To post a screenshot, please refer to https://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-7043#jive_content_id_How_do_I_attach_a_screenshot

    You may refer and try the suggestion from the following help article and see if that helps Error 1722 while installing/updating Acrobat DC/Acrobat Reader DC on Windows

    If you are on Windows 7 machine, please update/install C runtime in Windows, refer to the following URL for obtaining the Windows update https://support.microsoft.com/en-in/help/2999226/update-for-universal-c-runtime-in-windows
