Acrobat Reader DC long file path v2

What donkey thought it was a good idea to Lock this discussion!

Its a long running issue which we have been waiting for a fix for many years and now it Locked we have to vent our fustration on a new discussion which will probably be ignored like the last one.

Anyway anyone who is still frustrated by this Long path debarcle in Adobe Reader the following might be of help.  Its a script I have put together that can open long path pdf locations via Junction Point.  Tried and tested in OneDrive with long path to and its working.  The script is public domain, do what you want with it.

    @carl_6430 WOWZA! I would have just started 'Anyway anyone who is still frustrated by this Long....' versus starting on a negative note but start on a positive note! Thanks for the tip btw!

    Yep. It frustrates the hell out of me when I assume the forum administrator has closed the ticket. Adobe burying head in sand. They have closed the original thread the issue no longer exists in their eyes. I like many before me have wasted days of trying to find workarounds to this bug. I give in Adobe you have won!

    I hope you are doing well, and I am sorry for the trouble. The thread got locked as our current platform is going through migration. About the issue, it is with the product team.
