Acrobat Reader DC not responding + crashing issue

Hello,

I use the Acrobat Reader DC app all time to read and modify my pdf documents however it often freezes and sometime crashes making me loose my important information (and the recovery option is useless).

So I would want help with 2 issues here:

1. The current freezing issue: Usually when it freezes I leave it open for some time and it starts working again however this time it's been more than a day. I would like to save my documents but I can only open the application, after that I can't do anything.

2. The crashing issue: It happens way to often and I'm considering using another application because this is unacceptable.
