Acrobat Reader DC stop working after few minutes while I mark text (Windows 10)

I use the mark took, and after I use it for few minutes the Acrobat app is getting stuck. I need to close it via Task Manager and restart it.

Hi morgrabli,

Try to follow the below mention steps to resolve the issue:

1- Check for updates, launch Reader>navigate to Help menu>select Check for Updates. If there is an update available, download and install it, and then relaunch Reader and see if its working fine.

2- Run Reader with Admin rights, locate Reader shortcut on the desktop>right click>select Run as administrator.

3- If that doesn't work, try to change compatibility settings for Reader DC, under Reader DC shortcut>right click>Properties>Compatibility >Compatibility mode>check the box which says Run this program in compatibility mode for, and select Windows 7 from the drop down options>Apply>OK.

Could you please confirm the version of Reader DC installed on your Windows 10 machine?

Have you tried with other pdf file?

And, if there is any error message appears when Reader stops?
