Anytime I open a PDF whether it be embedded in a browser such as Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer (I tested with ALL most recent versons as of 2/15/2018)) it loads immediately, but then freezes for several seconds, then I can scroll the document for a quick second then it freezes again and takes up to 60 seconds or more before I can scroll again, then freezes again and I have to wait up to several minutes before it will work again.  After about 3 to 5 minutes, it then is fully functional.  Given the large amount of PDF's I have to deal with on a regular basis, this is NOT acceptable.  I've disable all extensions/addons/anti-virus programs I have and nothing makes any difference.  I've scoured the internet over the course of several days and can't find anything that would help.  I'm running Windows 7, 64 bit on my laptop with an itel core i7-2640M 2.8 ghz with 16g of ram.  Any suggestions?

Isn't 2018.011.20036 still in beta.  Probably not a good selection for a production work load but thanks for contributing to the development of 20036.

I downloaded the latest version from Adobe.com.  There was nothing about a beta version.

Any PDFs streamed from my web app are opened with Adobe, whether its a plugin or not, it's Acrobat Reader DC and is experiencing the same issues as any other browser.  Which was the point.

Lets be clear here.  I don't have to open a PDF to have problems with Acrobat Reader DC.  Just opening the application causes the issues I described in my first post.  Opening a PDF just makes it worse.  I have had to power down my machine at least 3 times to recover as it seems like the issue get increasing bad the more times I open Acrobat Reader DC and/or load a PDF to the point where my machine locks up.
