I upgraded Acrobat Reader DC from Adobe Reader XI last week. When I tried to print any PDF. document, I get the error message "The document could not be printed. There were no pages selected to print". What went wrong? I did Repair installation, but I'm still getting the same message. I have PC and Window 7. Please help.

Try uninstalling and then re-installing. The following script may help with a complete uninstall: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

I discovered this solved my printing issues:  Check the radial button next to "Files from unsafe locations" under Security (Enhanced)> Sandbox Protections >Protected View

I this in your preferences? I cannot find that path in the Security (Enhanced)? Are you on a MAC or PC?

This is bogus! No Printing from Acrobat, Adobe says it's a known issue! Super frustrating I spent a lot of time trying to fix this issue. Thanks for nothing Adobe.

This is getting ridiculous. Acrobat continues to crash – the crash report will come up and I will dismiss. Then ten minutes later, even though the application is shut down, the error message appears again “Adobe Acrobat and unexpectedly quit”. How can that even happen if the application is not open??? Post the old version as the new update and get rid of this POS!

    Major fail on this one.

I just got off a chat with the Adobe help desk. He said that this is a known issue and adobe was working to resolve. He suggested to delete the printers that add back in using only 10 characters for the printer name. It is a lame work around and it is hit and miss. He finally said for me to contact the printer manufacturer and ask them to update their drivers? WHAT? That is like the auto company asking you to contact the power window motor manufacturer because your windows won't roll up or down. WHAT A COP OUT.

It is obvious that Adobe doesn't really care about their customers and is not working with the other software/hardware manufacturers when they develop their products.

Okay, I gave up on Acrobat Reader DC, because it just won't print, so I threw it in Recycle Bin. I went back to Adobe Reader XI and I finally printed it. Thanks.
