Acrobat Reader Disappears After Installation Download

My numerous attempts at re-installing Acrobat Reader have been unsuccessful.

The installer downloaded fine and the installation proceeded to the end.

However, this time there is no evidence of Acrobat Reader having been installed.

I cannot find it, either under the Windows Settings for Apps nor an icon shortcut on the desktop.

The Acrobat Reader installer exe file also vanished from where it was downloaded to.

I have followed instructions on previous threads

1. Used the clean up tool - no error messages

2. Checked the C++ is repaired - no error messages

All of this is good. However each time I restart my computer and start the process again the same problem occurs. This is new laptop so there were no previosly installed versions.

I'm running latest windows 11 on a a new Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 14Q8X9

Processor Snapdragon(R) X Plus - X1P64100 - Qualcomm(R) Oryon(TM) CPU (3.42 GHz)
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.6 GB usable)
Device ID [Info removed on user request]
Product ID [Info removed on user request]
System type 64-bit operating system, ARM-based processor

I would appreciate any support/advice thank you

Hi @47492097,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble with installing Acrobat.

Since you are using an ARM-based device, please try installing the 32-bit version of the application and check again if it works for you.

You can download the offline installer from here: https://adobe.ly/3Z8rbwN

Let us know if this helps.

Regards,
Souvik.
