acrobat reader does not start

Adobe acrobat (64 bit) does not start

adobe version 23.001.20064

it has always worked fine until windows 10 has been updated few days ago  

I have windows 10 - 22H2 build 19045.3031

I have tried many times to uninstall and install again adobe reader but it does not start.

I think it might be a problem of compatibility with this version of windows 10.

Does anybody have a solution ?

I have tried both solutions, but, unfortunately they have not worked ?

I can't start the program

Do you have another suggestion?

Hi there

 

What happens when you try to start the application? Do you get any error message? If yes, please share the screenshot for a better understanding.

 

Please check for any missing/pending updates for Windows OS and try updating it and check.

 

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win and try using the application there and check.

When I try to start Adobe Nothing happens

windows 10 is updated at latest version

Thanks for reaching out. Please update the application to the new version 23.01.20174. and reboot the computer once. You may download the patch manually from the link https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html

 

If it still doesn't work, please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html , reboot the computer once and reinstall the application using the direct link
https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html and check
