We are using acrobat DC in order to sign the pdf document (digital certificate). Our certificate is provided by infocert and we are using an external card reader.

In the past we have used and tested successfully the process.

Steps:

Open acrobat reader

Tool --> Certificates

The digital certificates is configured in acrobat under PKCS#11 modules and Token: in Edit--> Prefernces --> Signatures --> Identities & Trusted Certificates using the bit4ipki.dll

Now we receive the following error:

PKCS#11 Error Error Codes 0x6

Coul you support us?

    Hi Gianlucad86287964,

    Please confirm the version of the Reader application that you were using previously, when the certificate worked well.

    Also, check with the vendor of your signature certificate as they might have an update for the same.

    This is happening most likely because of the changes made previously on the application and you may refer to the link below to know the same:

    Thanks,

    Supriya

    Acrobat Reader DC version: 2015.023.20056

    It's very strange because the old cards are working well and we are able to apply the eSign. But some cards release by the same vendor (Infocert) are not able to apply the eSign and acrobat reader show the error mentioned below. Conisder that we are able to configure the the card and we see the certificate using the acrobat interface.

    It's possibole to identify the error PKCS#11 Error Error Codes 0x6 shown by acrobat in order to solve the isseue?

    Acrobat reader DC support all the certificates or something is not supported?
