Acrobat Reader has quit working. No error message, just not opening.

Hi, I have been using Acrobat Reader for a long time with no issues. Today it isn't working any longer. I have followed all instructions found in the article regarding this issue and have contacted support who referred me to this forum for help. I have rebooted. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have tried to run the repair tools. I am at a loss. I can only view a PDF right now if I attach it to an email or use Microsoft Edge (which I am just not a fan of). When I double click to open Reader, nothing ever happens. When I double click a PDF to open, nothing ever happens. I have checked the settings, Reader is default app for .pdf files. I don't know what else to look for? Any help is appreciated, thanks!!

    Thanks for reaching out. As described above, Adobe Reader has quit working and just not opening, correct?

     

    As you have already tried the troubleshooting steps mentioned above with no effect, please try the following steps and check if that works for you:
