I used ot have a very fluid acces to adobe, using basycally only ordianry PDF's which once ina whiel I woudl convert into Word or Excel docuemnts... baci asic work.

I tnow takkes kiterraly a few minutes o open each document. it crashes once in awhile when doing so or gets totaly stuck.

Also when using the Filing and signing tool (which we pay for...) it takes at least oen if not two minutes to get operational. As if my computer had to go online ot find my signature sample.

WHAT IS GOING ON...THIS IS VERY PAINFUL

Hi Norbert

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

Would you mind sharing the version of the Acrobat Reader DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 22.1.20117 (Win), 20112 (Mac) Installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive, please download it to your computer locally and try again and check.

You may also try to turn off the protected mode for testing (Win Only). Go to Edit > Preferences > Enhanced Security > Uncheck 'Enable protected mode at startup' Turn off the protected mode and uncheck 'Enhanced Security > Click OK and reboot the computer once.

Note: Please turn on the security after testing to avoid any security risk.

Regards

Amal
