Acrobat Reader not opening on MacOS Mojave 10.14.4

For the past two months, my Adobe Acrobat Reader has not been working properly.

Every time I open the application on my computer, it will pop up on my dock then disappear immediately. It will not even show the application opened.

This is what I have done thus far:

-uninstalled/reinstalled

-update my computer

-install the latest version of the Adobe reader

-use Adobe cleaner

I don't understand why it won't open.

Computer Model: MacBook Air a1466

Operating System: MacOS Mojave 10.14.4

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 19.010.20098

I am really sorry for the trouble you had with Adobe Reader and for the frustrating experience.

Thank you for trying the steps you mentioned.

Would you mind creating a test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account and install Adobe Reader and check?

Hi,

None of it worked. Still pops open then suddenly closes.

Had to download another pdf reader in the meantime.
