Acrobat Reader not responding

Since the latest update, my Reader goes straight into Not Responding as soon as I try to do anything.  I am operating a Windows 7 system and re-installing or repairing the Reader does not help.  Everything was fine until the latest Reader update.

    Thank you.  Reverting back to version 11.0.10 has cured the problem.  I have now stopped Reader from automatically updating.
