Acrobat Reader not saving my annotations

New version of Acrobat not saving my annotations.  Never had any problems with previous versions.  What's going on?

    Please provide more detailed. First of all, what's your exact version of Reader (look under Help - About Adobe Acrobat Reader to find out)? Also, what's your operating system version?

    And what exactly happens after you add a comment, save the file, close it and then re-open it? Are there error messages of some kind?

    I get the same error today. Using Adobe Comments module Annots.api 2020.5.30407.10407 on Windows 10 Enterprise 20H2 (certified 2022-09-24 10:23:32). Document was loaded from a network share. Laptop has been offline, in sleep mode and on VPN. Now back in LAN I can't even save my comments to a local folder (C:\TEMP\) - Error message is network:

     Uptime is less than a week.
