Acrobat Reader on Mac

Acrobat Reader wont open and I have the following error message when trying to remove Acrobat Reader "The operation can’t be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -60008)" I have searched the support and can see how i can remove this as there is no uninstall file

Thank you for reaching out and sorry about the trouble.

Could you please let us know what happens when you try to launch the application?

Please try running the Cleaner tool (https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html#macintosh) on your Mac once and reboot the machine.

Also, remove the Adobe folders from mac and trash folder.

Check if that helps.
