Acrobat Reader opens wrong document

Hello together, 

 

I have the problem, that my Acrobat Reader opens sometimes a complete different document instead of the one that I clicked. 
When I click then on "+" and load the document manual it works, that's why I don't think it is a issue with the file. 
I work with Dropbox and an iPad. 

Maybe someone knows what I can do, because it takes so much extra time.

    Please let us know if you use the Acrobat Reader desktop application or the Acrobat Reader for iOS.

    If using both, on what device do you experience the issue? 

    It is a weird behavior if the application opens PDFs other than the selected one. Would you mind sharing the screen recording of the workflow? Share the Acrobat Reader and OS version on your device.

    Hi, I have also experienced this issue of Acrobaot Reader opening the wrong file. I use Drop Box and Acrobat Reader on my ipad for work. This has happened twice in the last month on 2 seperate occasions. One time the file corrected the issue itself. The 2nd is on-going and will not open the correct file. 

    When I am in Drop Box and use the edit button to open the file in Acrobat Reader. Acrobat Reader opens and the correct file name will appear, but the document that was opened is not correct. Sometimes the file name will be incorrect and the document opened will be correct. This happens with the same 2 files everytime. I have tried opening these files from different Drop Box folders and have had the same issues. The information is being saved in the wrong places, and under the wrong file names. Arcobat Reader seems to be confusing these 2 files.
