Acrobat Reader Password Block Slow to Respond

When you open a pdf document in Outlook that is password protected Acrobat Reader opens but the password block is slow to respond and you have to enter the password multiple times to get the password to register. It would be much more convenient if there as a Eye Icon there so you can see the password you have typed in.

Hi @Stew352507374146

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. Also try to download the PDF to your computer locally and see if that helps.

Also make sure you have the application updated to the recent version 23.08.20470 Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

It is all pdf's that you open through Microsoft Outlook on the desk top computer. If Acrobat Reader is already open it is OK, That is why I suggested there must be an Eye Icon to allow one to see what you have typed. The Mobile phone version has this feature.

My version is fully up to date and this issue is ongoing from way back.
