Question

Acrobat Reader resetting "Recent" list

I am on a Mac running OS 12.6 (Monterey). I have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC "Continuous Release Version 2022.002.20191".

Every so often, about once a week, the list of "Recently Opened" documents gets reset and is blanked out. This is extremely annoying.

Since Adobe doesn't have any support personnel to address us "free" users, I'm posting this here.

Adobe products suck. I only use them because I have to.

Don't bother replying because I won't see replies. This is posted here just in case there's anyone at Adobe reading these forums who cares.

Hi @sauljaffe

We are sorry to hear about your frustrating experience.

The files from Recent should not be deleted automatically unless cleared manually.

About your experience of getting the files deleted, we suggest installing the latest version, 22.003.20258, of Acrobat Reader and observing for a little while to see if the same thing happens.

Thanks,
