Question

Acrobat Reader stops my Mac from shutting down

So......

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC keeps telling me that there are some project/file/PDF open and that I have to end the task before closing the programme.

I have tried closing it, and I cannot see any open files. My Mac will not allow me to either do a security update from App Store nor will it allow me to even turn my Mac off.

What to do??

    Hi Theresel,

We apologize for the delay in response to your query.

If you are still experiencing this problem or will ever experience the same problem, then you must try closing the application's processes running in the background from the activity monitor. which might be causing problem.

Open Go (at the top menu bar)>Utilities> Activity Monitor

Select all the Acrobat processes and related files and "Quit Process"

    Regards,
