Acrobat Reader will not load on my computer a desktop. I have unintalled it and installed it again. It has worked for years now it won't load.

We are sorry to hear that the issue still exists. 

What happens when you try to load/install the Acrobat Reader on your computer? Do you get any error message? If yes, please share the screenshot of the same for more clarity. A small video recording of the step syou are taking and the issue as it occurs would be very helpful.

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there and check.

Please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html , reboot the computer and reinstall the application using the direct link https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/ and see if that works.
