AcroMissingCompW: AcroRd32.exe - Pas de disque

Question

hi,

i use adobe acrobat reader french version release 24.002.20895.

A day, i opened a PDF file from a CD stored in my 😧 drive.

Now, each time, i open another PDF, i have this error messag because i have no CD in my CD-rom drive !

The Application never understand there is no CD in it and still display the message anytime i open a local PDF file !

how to solve this error ?

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

As described it started to happen after you opened a PDF file from a CD stored in 😧 drive.

Acrobat is trying to recover a file that existed on a removeable disk, which is no longer present. Please try to reinsert the CD in the drive, Acrobat would ask if you want to recover the file, Click No and see if that works for you.
