Uninstalling the Adobe Acrobat Reader fixes the issue, but we would like to continue using Adobe Acrobat.

What can we do? Thank you for your help.

Hi,

thanks for your response but unfortunately the issue still persist. The only other thing that works than uninstalling that I found is by deactivating the "Adobe PDF Reader" Add-On under Internetoptions.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As you have uninstalled the Acrobat Reader DC application, please try to run the Acrobat cleaner tool - https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html, reboot the computer once and reinstall the application using the link - https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

You may also check the steps shared in the help page - https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-crashes-on-windows-os.html
