Acrord32.exe high CPU usage in Windows 7 bit

Has anyone else had trouble with acrord32.exe not closing after Acrobat Reader closes and running at 60% CPU usage. I have a laptop with windows 7 64 bit Home Premium with Pentium P6200 with 4 GB of ram. When ever Acrobat Reader is opened it usually will not open for several minuets; says not responding as soon as it opens.. Acrord32.exe  uses about 45%-60% CPU usage. The computer is bricked tell you close acrord32.exe manually. I have tried reinstalling to no avail. Will be trying to uninstall and manually remove all traces today and see if that helps. Has any one seen this and know a work around?
