Adobe acrobat buggy, deletes all filled in content if opening the same pdf again. Can i get it back?

Steps to reproduce

Open a long pdf and choose to fill it in. Once you spent an hour filling it in, open the same file again. Congratulations, now your content has been deleted. Is there a way of getting it back?
