Dear support,

I refer to this thread, that garbled text was observed in windows 10 due to Acrobat

Arial font rendering issue on the browsers(Edge and Chrome) of - Microsoft Community

Can Adobe provide more infromation on this issue such as which version of Adobe software is involved and if any step/file can be provided to reproduce the problem ?

Thank you very much.

We received report of similar cases.  Does the latest version Adobe Reader have improvement on this?

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Would you mind sharing more details about the issue you are experiencing? A small video recording of the steps and the issue occurring would be very helpful.

What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.01.206XX installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

One of our users have installed the update.  However, this problem still occurs.  Any one has encountered similar experience?  Any suggestion?

Not heard about the problem. Adobe don't publicise all the things people report, or what they are working on. I notice in the linked page it says "We have been told that a fix from Adobe is planned to be rolled out with next month’s (June 2023) release." So, while it's not from Adobe, I'd take that as a good starting point, and wait for the next month's fix. Hi @Az298868946m43

The reference discussion seems to refer to an earlier Acrobat Reader version. If there's any issue reported, that will probably be addressed in the future/upcoming releases. This issue must have been notified and resolved with the latest patch.

About releases and their fixes, you can refer to our official release note here: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html

If I may ask, what is the purpose or use of the sample file you have mentioned above? I wonder if we have any of those to provide you.

Thanks,

Akanchha

Hello AkanchhaS,

So far I cannot find any item in the release notes that are related to the issue, thus I would assume the fixed version of acrobat reader is not yet released. In case you have any further information, kindly share.

For the sample file requested, if there is one, then we can verify the issue in our actual workstation that encountered the problem, as currently we don't have a concrete way to replicate the problem.

Thank you.

Hi ,

Acrobat and Reader official update 23.003.20201  is now available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader. If you want, you may also manually trigger the update early by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates>reboot Acrobat.

More information about this release is here: Release Notes | Adobe Acrobat, Reader

Thanks,

Akanchha
