Adobe Acrobat DC not installing on new laptop

I bought a Dell Inspiron with pre-installed windows 10. I tried downloading the Acrobat DC PDF reader through the Adobe website. It installs for 50% and then says Installation Failed. I've repeated the action multiple times on 3 different browsers( Chrome, IE, Firefox). I even checked the troubleshooting guidelines to see if I was missing something. Please help me. I need the reader because I use PDFs indiscriminately.
