Adobe Acrobat DC - Redacted Documents

Hi, wonder if someone could help me.  Once you have applied redactions, text recognition is removed from documents.  If I should add this search ability back in, can you confirm that redacted words remain so and others can access original information?

Thanks, MK

No, you can re-OCR the PDF and it will not add back in the redacted text.  Once you "Apply" redactions, the redacted text is gone for good regardless of what you do to the PDF afterwards.
