Question

Adobe Acrobat highlights appear inconsistently on Mac

Hello,

I use Adobe Acrobat Reader for annotating pdfs, usually Scans of texts, on MacBook Air (m1, sequoia 15.1.1).
I started having the following problems:

1. highlights are saved but only show when I zoom out or in, and even then inconsistently.

2. when highlighting, white bars appear and block the view on the text, sometimes small abd sometimes covering almost the whole textbook scan. They disappear after a moment.

Is there anything I could do against this problem?

thanks!

Hi @frieda_0099

Sorry for the inconvenience, can you please share below details to help us investigate this further

1. Screenshot or a small video of the problem

2. Since when did you start facing this issue, is it a recent issue of happening for sometime?

3. Acrobat Reader version installed on you machine. Version info is present on splash screen via Menu -> Acrobat Reader -> About Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Thanks,

Rohit A

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
