this is really frustrating..
1: i keep getting "internal error occured"
2: i'm not able to create a text box.
3: pdf doesn't open from the direct file link. i have to open the program first then open the file.
4:i can't copy/paste or move a text box within pages.

i have reinstalled, done that security options "fix" cleaned it with creative cloud cleaner and adobe cleaner.
yet it's still broken.....

Hi @alex.wildbore

Sorry to hear that multiple issues exist at the same time.

When do you exactly see the "Internal error occurred" message? Try changing the following preferences setting and see if that makes a difference.

Navigate to Reader>Edit>Preferences>Security (Enhanced)>disable "Protected Mode at Startup" and "Enhanced Security">OK>Reboot Reader. [Win only]

What is the exact version of Acrobat Reader you are currently working on?

Open Acrobat>help>About Acrobat (Win) and click on Adobe Acrobat>About Adobe Acrobat (Mac)

Note:

This issue, "An Internal error occurred" on various actions, has already been reported. Our engineering team is aware of it and currently working on the fix.

The fixed version is excepted to be rolled out with future releases. As soon as we get a confirmation, we will keep you posted.

Thanks,

Akanchha
