Adobe Acrobat keeps opening in edit or comment mode

Hello Folks,

Why does Acrobat Pro open in commet mode each time I open a document that has been edited or comemnted on previously? when I close the document I make sure it is in read mode and close all the comment and mark up panels.

Can any one help resolve this annoying issue plese
