Adobe Acrobat not responding at startup problem

Hi,

I am getting problem with Adobe acrobat reader. It shows a "not responding" warning/status at startup and gets freezed for 3,4 seconds and then start working normally. I have searched some threads but no success.

What exact version of Reader do you have? What operating system?

Also, does this happen when you open Reader on its own, or when you open a file using it?
