Adobe acrobat reader - content edited on Chrome won't save

Hi,

The pdf file which requires me to fill in the blanks won't allow me to do so on the Adobe Acrobat Reader app, so I've been editing it on Chrome (Adobe extension) but the content that I filled it won't be saved. The file can be saved but when I open it either through Adobe Acrobat Reader or Chrome after saving it, the content no longer exists. Does this have to do with the error notice keep popping up saying "use of extended features is no longer available"?
